The first book in the series is New Cultural Studies: The Liquid Theory Reader – the first version of which has been edited by Gary Hall and Clare Birchall as a follow up to their 2006 woodware volume, New Cultural Studies: Adventures in Theory (Edinburgh: Edinburgh University Press).

Call for Contributions to the Culture Machine Liquid Books series

Culture Machine would very much like to publish a whole series of 'liquid readers' along the lines of the above volume, with each 'book' in the series comprising an edited collection of remixable, reorder-able and reshuffle-able files and texts.

To this end, we are currently seeking further contributions to the Culture Machine Liquid Books series. Suggestions for possible themes include (but are not restricted to):

Water
